BOVEN WATER

The performance Boven Water is based on the event of a tiny village losing their youngest generation in 1941, Godsheide, Belgium. In this village a raft, build to transport the children to and from school over the canal, capsized and 35 children drowned. Now together with 'de queeste' and performers, suze conceived a performance with as a base the interviews they held with some survivors and surviving relatives of the catastrophe.

The performance talks about how we deal with loss, trauma and death.
